This is a good time to ask ourselves if we are hiding due to a fear of being seen for who we truly are or are we courageously shining our light by sharing our gifts with the world around us.

My Approach

A large part of my success in athletics was due to the practical approach that I took to any problem that came my way. Whether it was sorting through the challenges of managing the daily training load or the tactics needed to be successful in a championship race, I found that this approach always worked best.  However, in my world the practical approach wasn’t always the same as the conventional approach.  I have always been open to thinking outside the box when looking for ways to improve on both an athletic level and a personal level.  I have often found that trying a novel way of doing something that was in my normal routine lead to a greater understanding of what I was doing and yielded better results.  I believe that by having a practical but also an open mindset we are able to reach even higher levels of peak fitness than ever imagined. The winning combination of a mind & body that are operating in harmony will never let us down.
